Optional accessories that are allowed to be attached are Wii shop channel, internet channel, keyboard and LAN adaptors.

Videos in Wii should also be in PAL or NTSC or SECAM. Sounds are being output in stereo or built in speakers.

Lastly, the power consumption ranges from 18 watts when it is switched on and 1.3 watts when it is in stand by mode respectively.
