Wii Ware: Major League Eating: The Game [MLE]

Posted on May 7, 2010 05:39:48 AM

A segment taken from Gamespot.com’s “On the Spot” which features the new Major League Eating (MLE) game coming out exclusively for the Wii via their new Wii Ware service. I am very curious and interested in MLE for the Wii. Specifically, I want to know more about the gameplay and am hoping to see an online or two player head-to-head mode. Hopefully it will incorporate full functionality of the Wii Remote too. I guess after watching the clip you really can boil this game down (no food related pun intended) a fighting game. -Can’t wait-

Wii Sports Resort (English) – Swordplay, Showdown

The final sword fighting game, this one has you go up against multiple enemies with three hearts. Legend of Zelda anyone? *coughcastlecough* The controls are the same as the Duel game. Swing the wii remote to attack, hold B to block. Strangely, in this game and the Duel game, you can still block attacks while you’re stunned. This means you can attack, get stunned, block while you’re stunned, then attack while your enemy is stunned for some easy hits.

New Super Mario Bros Wii “NEW TRAILER” – PlayJamUK

The sequel to the highly succesful New Super Mario Bros on the DS, focuses heavily on co-operative gameplay, with 4 players now being able to play through the campaign simulataneously. Further Info – New Super Mario Bros. Wii is a side-scrolling platform video game being published and developed by Nintendo for the Wii video game console and is the sequel to New Super Mario Bros. for the Nintendo DS. The game was first announced at Nintendo’s press conference at Electronic Entertainment Expo 2009, and is scheduled for release on November 15, 2009, in North America, and November 20, 2009 in Europe. It will be the first game in the Mario main series since Mario Bros. to feature simultaneous multiplayer gameplay, and the first Wii title to feature Nintendo’s new ‘Super Guide’ feature. The game uses elements of New Super Mario Bros. and also includes, for the first time in a Super Mario Bros. series game, simultaneous multiplayer capability of up to four players. It is played in classic style, with the Wii Remote held horizontally. Some movements such as jumping and attacks are performed with the buttons, whereas others like spinning in midair and picking up other players are performed by shaking the Wii Remote. According to the E3 2009 demo, players can play as four characters from the Mario series: Mario (player one), Luigi (player two), and two Toad characters: one blue (player three) and one yellow (player four). Players are able to pick each other up and throw them. If a

Koopa Cape (or in this case, Ryan Stiles Cape as Ryan’s face replaces that of the Koopa Troopa above the first cave) hosts the next race between Team Savage and Team Hyneman in a Three-Player team race in Mario Kart Wii. This time, the Govenator Arnold Schwarzenegger joins Team Hyneman in the top left corner. Thanks to a misconnection by the Wii Remote and the speed burst from a star, poor Adam is sent the wrong way inside the underwater tube.

Resident Evil 4 Wii Mercenaries (US Edition) – Leon, Village

Probably this is the first Wii mercenaries (American Version) video ever on YouTube. My Wii remote was acting gay. 105k, 5 Stars. And I was bored. I’ll probably upload more Mercenaries if I’m bored, hah.
